Education and Prevention

Planned Parenthood often speaks of how their services help prevent sexually transmitted diseases and teen age pregnancies.

Does their approach of teaching young children graphic sex and giving children condoms from your tax dollars work?

Here are some quotes from Planned Parenthood:

"More than three million unplanned pregnancies occur each year to American women; two-thirds of these are due to contraceptive failure."

Louise Tyrer, former Vice President of Medical Affairs for the Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA), in a letter to the Wall Street Journal dated April 26, 1991.

More recently from the statistics department of Planned Parenthood:

"Fifty-four percent of women having abortions used a contraceptive method during the month they became pregnant."

Planned Parenthood is working hard to call sexually transmitted diseases sexually transmitted infections. They are trying to act like these life threatening diseases are just little infections.

They try and tell people to just use condoms and some of the sexually transmitted diseases are transmitted by contact.  So unless children wrap themselves completely in latex, they can still get deadly diseases.

Centers for Disease Control show that 19 million new cases come up a year and about half are among the youth.

Planned Parenthood will not let good chastity and abstinence programs be taught. I guess we should just be happy they are not teaching drug use.
